It's January 2012, which can only mean one thing: it's Australian Literature Month where we get to celebrate Australian literature in all its many forms.
You can find out all you need to know about Australian Literature Month on my dedicated page. (You can access it via the sidebar menu down there on the right somewhere.)
I've already made a start and hope to review Gillian Mears' Foal's Bread some time in the next week. (UK readers with access to a Kindle might like to know the book is currently available as part of the "12 days of Kindle" promotion for £1.39 — worth every penny.) And I'm now about 50 pages into Tim Winton's Breath.
What Australian books are you planning to read?
