More than two weeks ago I went on a bit of a book slurge and ordered four books for the Not The TV Book Group schedule. The books, to be delivered in two separate parcels, never arrived. Thankfully, Amazon resent the books (at no cost), and they arrived today, along with a couple of other titles I'd purchased from secondhand sellers online. I also received two unsolicited books for review.
It never rains, but it pours.
