London Colouring & Guide Book

Londoncolouringbook

During yesterday's little shopping trip to Waterstone's I forgot to mention one of my purchases. I bought London Colouring & Guide Book for my three-and-a-half-year-old niece, who came to visit me earlier this month from Australia. I'm hoping that when I send this one off to sunny Far North Queensland it will bring back some lovely reminders of her first trip overseas to see her aunt.

The book is actually quite sweet. It features a cute little character called Little Lion, who visits many London landmarks, including Buckingham Palace, the Tower of London, Hyde Park and the London Eye. He also catches the London Underground ("the tube") and visits a West End theatre.

But this isn't just a colouring book. It also features a map and a brief, three-page, child-friendly tourist guide based on the sights Little Lion visits.

London Colouring & Guide Book is £3.99 (you can buy it from Amazon.co.uk) and all the proceeds go to charities working with orphaned and abandoned children.

What a lovely find and how much will Monet love it? A lot.

Whew - that'll go down well in Queensland! They will just love it - all her little friends will want one too - Amazon will go into meltdown as all those bushies log in and click to buy.
