Temporarily offline

The Reading Matters household is currently without an internet connection, so unless I can continue to steal access from a neighbour's unsecure wireless network (as I am doing now) or find a spare moment at work (ha!), I'm unlikely to be posting any book reviews over the next fortnight or so. But as soon as we can get our broadband connection sorted -- it's a long, complicated story -- I hope to be back to tell you all about The Iraqi by J.A. Mulholland, Sorry by Gail Jones, Krapp's Last Tape by Samuel Beckett and Thirteen Tonne Theory by Mark Seymour -- along with anything else that happens to fall into my sweaty little reading hands!

I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on Sorry. I'm currently reading it for review, and so far, not so good!

Andi, think I might have to agree with you. I am struggling a little with Sorry -- every time I put it down I really find it difficult to pick back up again.

Nothing like an Internet disconnection to get a lot of reading done !

Hope you're back online soon. Doesn't it feel strange not having internet connection? But Tony is right - you're sure to get a lot of reading done now.

As long as you have a great story or two to tell us upon your return, I'm sure all will be forgiven. Losing Broadband is always such an adventure.
