New look

In case you haven't noticed or you are reading this in Bloglines, I've done a bit of spring cleaning around here and changed the design... again.

I am a sucker for strong, bold fonts and lots of white space, so this design should keep me happy for a bit.

Let me know what you think...

I'm also fond of big white spaces but on a blog they seem too me to make things a little "unanchored." Anyway what really matters is the content. ;-)

Ooh, lovely! I have to say that I often read your blog in bloglines, but just had to come and have a proper look. I approve!

I love the choice of font and color - maybe the pile of books on the right is not cropped so. But a refreshing change in time for Spring! :-))

Looks fantastic!

I like the new look. I also read your blog in Bloglines, so I rarely see what websites look like. I always like to see what my fellow bloggers can do with designs. :)

Works for me ;-)

Looks great! And thank you so much for taking the time to review Nefertiti: A Novel.

I love the new look!

Whisper it, but I rather liked the old look!

When I posted the above, I hadn't seen the new header yet - it's very slow to load for me, for some reason. I like the new look better now!

Sorry kb - the longer lines are regressive. I really don't understand why bloggers recently think this is a good thing. The science tells us that - online - you need (a) short lines and (b) short paras. Long lines kill legibility.
