Joyce's birthday

Jamesjoyce_1It's James Joyce's birthday today.

He was born in 1882 and died in 1941.

In between he wrote a couple of books.

I've only read one of them, although I tried another and gave up about a third of the way through. One day I'll try again. (I bet you can't guess what book I'm talking about!)

Happy birthday, James! What a spiffy character you look!

I've yet to sink my eyeballs into any of his books. I just can't seem to get into them. As for Ulysses...I tried. I really tried... Oh well.

Kisane, yes, I tried Ulysses when I was in my early 20s. I would, however, like to tackle it again at some point...
