Anyone want a free book?

I've just finished reading Karin Fossum's Don't Look Back, which I am happy to give away to one lucky reader no matter where in the world you live.

To be in the running, simply tell me the name of your favourite crime novel or favourite crime author in the comment section below.

On Saturday I'll put everyone's names in a hat and draw out one winner.

You never know, it could be YOU.

Did someone say free book? Sign me up! As for my favorite crime author, I'll have to go with Michael Connelly. I loved "Chasing the Dime."

Favourite crime author : Ian Rankin

By far my favorite crime author is Jim Thompson. My personal favorite is "The Killer Inside Me."

Amanda :)

I've never done this before :-)

Ian Rankin. I can't wait for the next Rebus novel.

Lindsey Davis - does historical crime count?

Gabrielle Lord

It used to be PD James, but lately it's been Patricia Highsmith.

What a difficult question! At this moment I'd have to say Andrew Vachss--but they are oh so very dark.

My all time favourite crime novel--if that includes classic mysteries--is Dorothy L. Sayers' Gaudy Night. There's so much going on in that novel that I uncover something new every time I re-read it.

What a nice idea. Mine is Arnaldur Indridason!

Cool idea!

John Dunning's "Booked To Die" was too fun. Nothing elaborate, but a very fun read.

Favourite crime author: Lindsey Davis - I love the Falco series.

Elmore Leonard is America's best. My favorite UK crime writer is John Harvey.

Definately Erica Spindler. There are, of course, much better mystery writers out on the market today, but she seems to weave a story so compelling that I can't ever seem to put down any of her novels. Plus she has all the steaminess saved mainly for romance novels tied up nicely in a neat little bow in all of her books. Love stories and crime weird combo but I love it. I don't even like romance novels but Spindler is pretty good at spinning a mini one into her plots!

Mary Higgins Clark is my second favorite. Ever since I read "All Around the Town" I have been a fan!

A free book, oh yes please..

Where do I start, I think my first detective favourite was, Cherry Ames, Bobbsey Twins. Do I have to go that far back? No..., too much information, yes, I see.

OK, Currently Tess Gerritsen, anythng by Tess, and every Sara Paretsky, VI Warshawski book that comes out I await with baited breath.
