After 28 rejections, author finally finds his silver lining

CloudspottersguideMore 4 News, here in the UK, is fast becoming one of the best news programmes on television. It always features something quirky and interesting.

Last night's programme featured an interview with Gavin Pretor-Pinney. He is the author of The Cloudspotter's Guide, which was famously rejected by 28 publishers before becoming this summer's surprise hit.

I must confess I purchased this book a few weeks ago. It is delightfully presented and looks like something I am going to really enjoy when I finally get around to reading it properly.

If you wish to see last night's interview, it's available to view on the More 4 News website.

The Age newspaper has also published an interview with the author.

Stay tuned for my own review coming soon...
