Oh how I love a good spelling bee.

I loved Spellbound, the 2002 documentary following eight young competitors in a national spelling bee, and when I went to New York by myself in 2007 I treated myself to a Broadway musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, which was just brilliant.

Hence, I've become slightly addicted to this site. I'm not very good at it though: the British accents take a little while to become attuned to, as I mixed up accrue and ecru the first time I gave it a bash.
