I've never much seen the point in Twitter. I know every bloody celebrity has an account, which is probably why I've been turned off.
But then I started reading Carol Overington's tweets for The Australian and I've begun to wonder if I should reassess my opinion. Her "reports" of no more than 140-characters in length have been illuminating to read. Long gone are the days when journalists out in the field had to phone in their stories!
