Comments and stumbles and diggs and subscribers are nice and all, but when it comes to dealing with online identities your best bet is to tell yourself, “I am a rock!” The internet has aided communication, but it hasn’t done anything to refine it–people can and will be total douchebags at the most inconvenient of moments. The only real way to prepare is to regularly visit a dentist who happens to be a schizophrenic ex-convict.
