Wow...what a mess! I would hate to work as a baggage handler right now (not that it's something I dream of doing on a normal day). But what a way to mess up practically hours within opening T5!
Kinuk, it's been a complete joke -- especially as they held an opening ceremony for T5 with such fanfare a couple of weeks back (before it was operational and open to the public). The Queen was there and loads of Government officials, architects etc. singing the praises of the facility -- state of the art technology and baggage handling capabilities etc. But since this debacle they have all been pretty bloody quiet... I wonder why? The only person who has had the gumption to apologise and admit things have gone wrong has been Willy Walsh from BA.
